NEXT PANORAMA - NEXT STOP DOWNING STREET? - MONDAY 8.30PM

QUICK TURNAROUND - FAST RESPONSE
It's not often that Panorama juggles the schedule and puts a programme to air in just one week - but then it's not often we see financial turmoil on this scale.

Our reaction to the news of the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the takeover of HBOS by Lloyds TSB was Monday's Panorama, How Safe Is My Money?

This took a look behind the headlines at the impact the financial crisis is having on all of us, our banks, our mortgages and pensions.

The fact that we were able to put together this film at such speed is in great part thanks to you.

The team here at Panorama are grateful to all those who got in touch either by responding to this newsletter, emailing the BBC's Have Your Say team or getting in touch with Jeremy Vine's Radio 2 programme.

Our team also trawled the net to find your stories that you've been blogging about on websites and social networks.

All this contributed to Monday's programme, watched by 3.4 million people, so a big thank you from us.

And although the programme itself is not available online, you may want to see our
picture gallery which takes you behind the scenes and shows you just how a Panorama is made in only a week.

YOUR STORIES
The financial crisis is a story that's sure to keep rolling on and we'll be keeping a sharp eye on it.

As ever, if you have been personally affected by the credit crunch or work in the industry and want to get in touch with us you can email panorama@bbc.co.uk. If you'd like to contact us in confidence then please just let us know in the subject heading.

CANCER DRUGS MAP
We've a new map on the site illustrating access to five specific
cancer drugs across the UK.

Our colleagues working on the daytime series Dom's On the Case created the map after finding disparity in access dependent on where patients lived.

This echoed the findings of Panorama's recent programme
NHS Postcode Lottery: It Could Be You.

The series is now finished but you can catch all five episodes of Dom's On the Case on the
BBC iPlayer.

WHEN NICK MET DAVID
The BBC's Political Correspondent Nick Robinson has been out on the road with the would-be Prime Minister David Cameron.

Back in 1994 Nick made a Panorama film called Blair's Britain which followed Tony Blair before he landed Britain's top job.

Could David Cameron be following in his footsteps? He's certainly transformed the Conservatives into an electable party again but can he persuade voters in Birmingham to vote for him? Nick Robinson takes him to meet some undecided voters in Monday's programme, Next Stop Downing Street? on BBC One, 8.30pm.

If you can't wait until then we've ressurrected
Blair's Britain from our archive and you can watch it in full on our website.

And you can read more about Nick's impressions of his day with the Conservative leader as he'll be posting on
his blog over the weekend.

GOODBYE
That's all for this week. You can keep up to date with what's happening on the programme
on our website.

If you have a story, suggestion or comment you'd like to send us then you can always email us panorama@bbc.co.uk
