From the web team:

Tonight we have the latest on the expenses row and we will have a detailed look at immigration and the impact the recession is having on it.

Has the financial crisis sent migrant workers packing, or are they staying put? Has the initial wave of Polish workers been replaced by an influx from countries such as Bulgaria, Macedonia and Romania? What does this mean for British workers? Is the balance of Britain's population being altered? Is this causing anxiety, and are politicians aware to what extent?

To help answer those questions, reporter Tim Whewell has been in Lincolnshire talking to British people and immigrants. And Gavin Esler will be speaking to senior politicians, including Immigration Minister Phil Woolas, about whether immigration something to worry about or celebrate.

We will also have the glittering finale to our Immigrant Song Contest in which the judges: Eurovision winner Sandie Shaw; former Shadow Home Secretary, David Davis; and ex-immigration officer, turned musician, Steve Bateman, will choose the winner from the six bands vying for glory.

Join Gavin Esler for all that at 10.30pm on BBC Two
