DENISE LEWIS AT THE LONDON GRAND PRIX There is no doubting who the star of the show is at the London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace. Usain Bolt is in town and we are lucky enough to get a double helping of the Jamaican sprinting superstar as he is competing in the 100m on Friday and the 4x100m on Saturday. He left everyone in his wake at last year's Beijing Olympics as he won three gold medals, all in world record time, and got everyone excited about athletics again. He is so cool and such a charismatic guy that young people have really got into him. Tyson Gay, who has run the fastest 100m in the world this year, has opted to race in the 200m which denies us the chance of a head-to-head between the two. But if he could run a smokey 200m, the stage will be set for next month's world championships in Berlin. British interest in the 100m focuses on Simeon Williamson who sounds like a man on a mission. When a sprinter says he needs to lose an extra bit of weight you can tell he is focused on the job in hand. Let's hope the presence of Bolt will help him to become only the fourth British man to run under 10 seconds. It's going to be difficult to know what part of the stadium to concentrate on as the list of world stars to watch is amazing. Double Olympic champion, Tirunesh Dibaba, made a late decision to run in the 5,000m and it's a big honour to have her here and she is bound to set the track on fire. And watch out for world record machine Yelena Isinbayeva going for yet another mark in the pole vault. As for me, I'm delighted to be joining the BBC athletics team. I've been away for a while and I'm thrilled to be back and working alongside the likes of Colin Jackson and Colin Edwards, it's going to be fun.
