RAPHAEL IBANEZ ON THE SIX NATIONS
Everything is in place for a great encounter at Twickenham between England and France.

France are desperate to show the rugby world that they can follow their win against Wales with another consistent performance, and victory in England would be another step to them earning respect.

Marc Lievremont's team selection is perhaps less about creativity than you'd expect from a typical French side.

The players selected are big, direct and confrontational and it's going to be a battle of the giants.

England are under a tremendous amount of pressure and this is a must-win game for them.

But of course being a former captain of France I cannot back England to triumph so I'm going for a French win, by one point!

Wales will see the fixture against Italy as a chance to bounce back from the disappointment in Paris last time out.

Coach Warren Gatland has made 10 changes and that is the right option. It's a big warning to the first choice XV and it will provide real competition ahead of the final match against Ireland.

Italy are a team on the slide and I think that is down to their national championship simply not being good enough to provide top quality international players.

Ireland travel to Murrayfield sitting top of the championship and their team know each other so well that they are like a club side and that's why they have been performing to such a high level.

They have got their two hardest games to come in this year's Six Nations and they must think, 'do we want to be remembered as a good Six Nations team or do we want to be remembered as Grand Slam winners'. We will see what happens over the next week.

Raphael Ibanez is an expert analyst on BBC TV for England v France on Sunday.

Raphael was talking to Paul Birch.
