NEXT PANORAMA - EUROPE OR DIE TRYING - TONIGHT, 14 SEPTEMBER 8.30PM ON BBC ONE Hi there, EUROPE OR DIE TRYING Thousands make the journey across the Sahara to Europe every year, but far from the migrants' dream of a better future the passage can often be deadly. BBC Panorama's Paul Kenyon takes a 3,000 mile trip across the desert and sea which serves as the most dangerous route out of Africa. Packed into boats, hiding under trains, perhaps it is no wonder so many die in their attempt to better their lives. But with Europe in recession is the journey even worth it? Panorama: Europe or Die Trying tonight, BBC One at 8.30pm. Follow the story of one migrant, Justice, who made it to Naples from where he sent the message home that others shouldn't follow in our audio slideshow on the Panorama website. BRITAIN'S DIRTY BEACHES We had a big response following last week's programme about the state of Britain's coastline. There are approximately 500 Combined Sewage Overflows (CSOs) located near our shorelines spilling sewage along with debris including tampons, condoms and cotton buds. So what is the impact on our beaches? If you missed the programme you can watch it on the Panorama website. And if you're worried about your local beach check if it is near a CSO on our online map.
